Delivered by Farmers2Founders, Agri-RISE is a program designed to empower young women across Queensland to build careers in agrifood-tech. As part of the broader TEKWOMEN initiative, supported by Advance Queensland, the program brings together mentorship, expert-led workshops, and industry exposure to equip participants with the tools needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.
Opening Doors to Agriculture and Technology
Aimed at women aged 18 to 25, including students and recent graduates, Agri-RISE provides a unique entry point into modern agriculture. No prior industry experience is required. Participants gain hands-on exposure to:
- Artificial intelligence and data-driven decision making
- IoT technologies in farming systems
- Data analytics for crop and operational insights
- Leadership and career development skills
The program also creates meaningful connections with startups and agribusinesses, helping participants build networks that extend well beyond the 12-month experience.
